Guys, If I remember correctly, the center LED should NOT be on in either XMIT or RCV. When this LED is not lit, it means that you don't have the BBK (Big Black Knobs) tuned correctly. It is too early in the morning to remember anything else but I do remember this much from 15 years ago when I last used a Dovetron. HTH Joe Montano N9VMO
