That's it.  A couple of conversions fills in the picture:

- One ton of a/c is the equivalent of 12,000 BTU's per hour.

- 1 watt of heat dissipation (appliance energy loss) = 3.7 BTUs per hour.

I have a formula for estimating a building's a/c requirment, but the result
was BTUs per hour;  now I can estimate X tons of a/c.  The watt conversion
is handy as well, for estimating heat loads from computers, etc.
