Despite the odd listing, I believe this is a AN/UGC-20 Receive-Only Model 28 Compact...it is similar to one I have and it is not a "Tempest" machine (normal selector assembly). It should have a three-speed shift.
Maybe a good deal for some mid-country? It is a heavy little clunker.

	You are bidding on an old teletype machine from the tube era.  I have no idea if it works or what anyone would even do with it.  perhaps  someone out there is teletype machine collector or would like it for a movie prop or other nostalgic purpose.  shipping will  probably be more than than the auction closing amount since it weighs about 50 pounds or more so please bid accordingly. I have spare rolls of paper for it too incuded if you like.  I  would love to have a local bidder pick it up and save me the packing effort!!!
