I had a great time at the Hamvention.  This was my first trip.  I do plan to go next year and stay the entire weekend.  Ben [WM9DX] and I both had obligations on Sunday so we departed Dayton late Saturday morning.    

What I love is being able to see and touch the latest equipment.  I sold my main rig while in Hawaii and I am saving for a new one.  Although a bit pricey I do like the TenTec Omni VII.  This would be a great radio for someone who has TVI issues with the neighbors.  You can work the radio remotely which was a real selling point for me.  Imagine, going on vacation, your house is completely dark, the car is gone, the neighbors know you're gone, and when you come back they have experienced the same TVI as usual but you were not even home so it can't be your problem......  just a sick thought.
