This year's Dayton Hamvention was outstanding. The weather was beautiful -
mostly sunny and cool - the best I can recall. As a result of the perfect
weather, there was lots of activity in the flea market which resulted in
manageable crowds inside HARA arena.

There were a number of interesting forums. I attended the Antennas and the
Law forum, with the catchy title "Getting It Up and Keeping It Up."

The highlight for me was the DX forum which featured excellent presentations
and slides of the Swains Island KH8SI, Aves Island YX0A/YX0LIX, Kermadec
ZL8R, Lakshadweep VU7RG/VU7MY, and Scarborough BS7H DXpeditions.

The Great River DX Group from our area found a lot of bargains, but did
manage to take time to get together for a group picture. In a separate
email, I posted a link to my Dayton pictures on Shutterfly.
