Hi Team

I've finished my build and I am finding the FLL status LED a bit tricky
to interpret however **i think** initially I had amber flashing red, but
now I have amber flashing off.

I'm trying to get comms working through the serial port to better
understand what's going on; I have a MAX232 chip configured on the TX
and RX lines and that is feeding to a USB to Serial adaptor :-(. I have
a HyperTerminal equivalent which I have configured in VT100 mode (have
also tried al sorts of other emulation modes). I am seeing some
information looking like this:

2D|C8
|C8
F|C8
531|C8
0532|C8

But not the strings I would expect. I have had to enable local echo to
see any types characters and "?" as an input results in nothing back. It
looks like I might be seeing the end only of the string from the
firmware - I say this because of the incrementing count ending 0532
which I think is the TimeStamp.

I have lots of question marks in the setup. My MAX232 circuit, the RS232
lead, the USB adaptor and also the hyperterm.

Anyone have any experience with this kind of comms and where I should
start to look?

Thanks,

Mark
