OK, so I had to go into work....

I now have the Ovenaire OSC 49-61C (HP prt number believed to be
0960-0477-1) on the table and have have powered up for a short
while.

The pin connections are not numbered so looking at the base of the
oven with the pins at the top. Numbering from left(1) to right(6).

1 - Ground
2 - Oven power
3 - Oven tellback
4 - Osc. power
5 - Ground
6 - Ground

Pin 5 is connected to the case.

I powered the oven at 18V pins 1 and 2, and monitored the
tellback on pin 3. I did not power the oscillator.

At switch-on the current sat at ~400mA and the oven tellback at
~15V.

After almost exactly 10 minutes the oven current started dropping
and the tellback dropped to ~6V

After 15 minutes the oven current had settled to about 140mA and
the tellback was below 6V.

Tomorrow (back at work) I will power the oscillator as well and
monitor the frequency against MSF.

Does anybody have a link to a simple design that I can lash up to
simply compare phase between two 10MHz oscillators?
