[GPS_Standard] GPS-Time--GPS Ant connection, GPS Module

The GPS module has a threadless connector smaller than a SMA (MCX- OSX??)
while my antenna has a SMA. I notice that the article pictures have a short
cable  (<4") that adapts the two.  Where can I get this??  I am reluctant to
make it up myself @ 1.5G --should I not be?  

Also I have a Rockwell Jupiter module (not a Motorola Oncore).  Is there
anything I need to know or do differently?  I believe them to be
interchangeable.

Finally, my understanding of the firmware flow is that when the GPS module
is not receiving satellite signals, the 1pps output will continue.  However
its timing will be off the established basis sufficiently to be discarded
and thereby not affect it.  What about for the initial startup?
