Dick,
the heads are not band dependant UNLESS they have freqs loaded in them 
and download to the radio...(more than 32 channels and they will, IIRC).
If you dont plan to run more than one group or more than 32 channels 
using the extra optional EEPROM, then you dont have to worry...merely 
make sure the jumper in the radio is pulled that allows the head to 
download into the radio EEPROM (this happens when changing groups and it 
reprograms the radio instantly). As long as the head downloading is 
disabled, you can use any 825/950 head on any Ranger or Delta-S.
