[GCARC] Crosstalk wins ARRL national newsletter award!

Jeff -- Kudos on the great job that you do month after month.  Having
filled in for you while you were laid up, I can attest to the fact that it
NOT just a simple matter of assembling what others have written.  It is a
huge puzzle whose pieces change size and shape from month to month,,, and
sometimes even within a given monthly issue.  I myself have been guilty of
sending you late changes that necessitated a change to the pasted-up layout
that you had already nailed down.  That is not an easy thing to
accomplish.  If an edit causes an article to flow over onto a new page, the
editor must then come up with content to fill out the remainder of that new
page -- he cannot leave a page mostly blank, right?

Putting *CrossTalk* together is a lengthy and tedious task, one in which it
is exceedingly easy to make mistakes.  Yet, we seldom see such mistakes.
That speaks to Jeff's dedication to his craft -- and to the Club for whom
he is producing the magazine.  And yes -- it *is* a magazine... or at least
it is far more than a simple "newsletter" such as many other clubs put out.

If anyone ever deserved such an honor, Jeff is certainly that person, and *now
is the time! *Congratulations on a job well done, continually and
consistently for many years, with the hope of many more to come.
