[GCARC] Pictures from Space! ISS SSTV transmissions this weekend

The ISS will again be transmitting SSTV pictures this weekend starting Friday thru Tuesday. Times haven't yet been announced (at least not on the ARISS site). Note that the frequency is different from most previous SSTV events - it will be 437.55 MHz transmitting with Robot 36 mode with 2 minutes between transmissions.  You should be able to hear the higher passes on your HT (FM mode) and copy the pictures with various SSTV apps available for iOS and Android phones.

These transmissions are from the Russian module (hence the frequency change) and celebrate Cosmonauts Day—the 65th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight, the 100th anniversary of the first liquid fueled rocket launch, the 45th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle flight, and the 20th anniversary of the deployment of Suitsat-1/Radioskaf.

Here are approximate times for the passes - check them against heavens-above.com for updated tracking info. (Hopefully the GCARC reflector will keep the table intact!)
