Hi Gcarc,

  1. I think I will have a 10M station this year. The band has been very active, and I do not see any change. I will ask Al KB2AYU if he wants it with his 6M station. If not, I think I will take it on our 40M SSB station. The antenna will be a wire IMAX. Basically, an IMAX that had the fiberglass destroyed in a wind storm, replacing the fiberglass portion with a wire, because that is all the fiberglass was covering anyway. This is a great antenna for Field Day. When we used it in the last cycle, we had nearly 500 contacts on it.

  1. 40 CW station. I have not heard anything from the regulars on this station, if they were going to run it. Please let me know if you guys are good or not.

  1. 40M SSB. We are still looking for operators. So far, only Dennis Sandole has volunteered. I am taking any operators, from beginners to seasoned contesters, and in between. Training will be provided. We need some coverage from like 6pm-12 midnight, overnight, and Sunday morning til about 11am.

  1. Food policy will be the same as the last 2 years. You will supply your own food for your station/stations. You can bring prepared food, fast food, whatever your station can manage. Some stations combined and shared food.

  1. Last year, I had 2 club members (one was a minister/reverend) that came at last minute and wanted to set up a station. I do not know their names, but you are more than welcome to join any station that needs you. You can be operators at our 40M SSB station, if you wish.

  1. No volunteers on a GOTA (Get on the Air) station as of yet.

Sincerely,

Vinnie
