[GCARC] What's Happening @ GCARC

All,

Our monthly General Membership Meeting is coming up on Wednesday, October 4,
2017 @ 1930 Hours at the Pfeiffer Community Center in Williamstown, NJ. The
program for the evening will be a video chat with Steve Galchutt WG0AT about
his many SOTA (Summits On The Air) adventures.

 

This Saturday, October 7, 2017, will be a busy day.

In the morning, we will have our monthly Tech Saturday Forum @ 0900 Hours at
our Clubhouse in Mullica Hill, NJ. Bruce Canino KD2LBU will present an
Introduction to NBEMS (Narrow Band Emergency Messaging Software). Please
bring your laptop or Android tablet for hands-on training.

 

At 1130 Hours, we will have our GCARC Family Picnic also at the Clubhouse.
If you would like, please bring a side dish or dessert. It will be a great
Fall day, with temperatures in the 70s.

 

Thursday, October 5, 2017 @ 2000 Hours is the weekly 10 Meter Ragchew Net.
Tune in to 28.475 MHz.

 

The Pitman/Glassboro Area Crop Hunger Walk is happening on Sunday, October
15, 2017. It takes place @ 1330 Hours in Pitman at the Sunset Auditorium.
Tony W2WCC is looking for some communicators for it. If you would like to
volunteer, please contact him at w2wcc at comcast.net.
