Joseph A. Arsenault WA2KDV Tuesday, June 14, 1932 - Tuesday, April 4, 2017 

Joseph A. Arsenault, age 84 died on April 4, 2017. Born and raised in
Berlin, NH, Joseph has lived in Clayton, NJ for 59 years. Joseph served in
the US Army from 1949-1952 during the Korean War and earned the Purple Heart
while defending the Pusan Perimeter. He was honored for his Purple Heart on
September 2, 2003 by having the American Flag flown over the Capital
Building. He worked for NJ Bell / Verizon and retired after 34 years of
dedicated service. Joseph served on the Clayton Police Reserves and
Ambulance Corp. He was also a Civil Defense and HAM Radio Operator, under
the call sign WA2KDV. Joseph received his private pilot's license in 1955
and belonged to the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Assn.) Chapter 216 in Cross
Keys, NJ. He was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, he coached
Clayton Little League for 10 years and also played the Pedal Steel Guitar in
the country music band, Just Reward. He is survived by his wife of 63 years
Alberta "Bert" P. (nee Drew), children Joseph M. "Maynard" (Susan), Lori A.
(Jerry) Littlefield, Paul R. (Joelle), grandchildren J. Douglas, Rachel and
Brian Arsenault, Travis, Alyssa and Courtney Littlefield, Erin Ament, Kyle
Arsenault, sister Olive Lemire, brothers Jean and Norman Arsenault, great
grandchildren Jayden and Taylor, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may greet the family on Friday 7-9pm at Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem
Ave. (Kings Hwy), Woodbury, NJ and on Saturday 10-10:45am at St. Michael's
the Arch Angel / St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Delsea Dr, Clayton, NJ.
Funeral mass will be at 11am. Full military honors will follow at Gloucester
County Veteran's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the
Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St. Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 or
