[GCARC] SJRA (K2AA) Amateur Radio Club QSO Party Contest

 Hi All,
I recently attended a meeting at SJRA and Ken, K2WB their Club President requested that GCARC put W2MMD on the air during the Amateur Radio Club QSO Party Contest which is sponsored by the SJRA.
If we agree to participate in the contest we are required to put W2MMD on the air for a minimum of 12 hours out of the 48 hours of the contest.  Time on the air does not have to be consecutive.  I would like for us to put W2MMD on the air on several HF bands.  Primarily 15, 20, 40 and 80.  We would sign W2MMD/58 for the number of years that GCARC has been in existence.  Stations may also enter the contest using their own personal call.  Example KA2OSV/58.

If anyone is interested in operating the Contest as W2MMD/58, you may do so from your home QTH, or you may wish to operate from the Club trailer.  You do not have to work the full 12 hours alone.  Club members can split up the 12 hours.  I plan to work 15 Meters for no less than 12 hours, thereby meeting our 12 hour required minimum.  The rest would be gravy.  All operations would have to be coordinated through me, so we don't have two or more stations calling CQ contest de W2MMD on the same band at the same time, which would be illegal.

The contest begins at 0000 hours UTC on June 17, 2017 to2359 hours UTC June 19, 2017.  This is the 3rd weekend in June and the weekend before Field Day.
Exchange call (W2WWD/58) or your personal call/58 + name + ARRL Section.
Modes allowed:
1.  CW
2.  Phone-SSB/FM/AM/
3.  Digital - PSK/JT65/RTTY etc.
Full contest rules will be provided to those stations wishing to participate in the contest.
