I have a Panasonic cassette recorder I bought in 1995 and used until
until a few years ago. It was modified by a and sold by Talk Radio
Products, Spokane, WA.

I used it to record my mobile contest contacts but recently switched to a
digital recorder. The Panasonic is slowed down to record six hours on
each side of a 120-minute cassette. I used it during the county hunters
CW contest (48 hours), and PA, IL, GA, and TX QSO Parties over the years.
I used it to check my logs; mostly when I couldn't read my writing.

I have the 110V power cord for use at home, but it uses four C-cell
batteries which last an entire weekend.
Also include the original Panasonic manual, a "tips" sheet provided by
Talk Radio Proucts, and the NCJ review by AB6FO.

It's slow of course and FF and RW are pretty slow (10:1) compared to a
regular cassette recorder. Sound quality isn't great, so music isn't
going to work. I guess it works for voice (SSB), but I only used it on
CW.

Free for shipping. Don't know what shipping will be; it weighs about two
pounds. I can email the price after shipment. If anyone wants it and
has a shipping cost limit, let me know and I won't mail it if shipping
exceeds your limit.

PS: I plan to attend the MARAC south central mini convention at Weslaco
if anyone going is interest
I can take it with me - Feb. 22-23. Plan to go to national at
Vasalia CA in July, too!
