Hello All honorable Hams,
& All those - still with some faith in human nature,
I also wish to support this good concept .. outlined by Bob ka2fxr
and Norm W3DYA.
I personally have been deeply impressed by the unstinting good nature
of some US Hams
who offered & sent a small part for a Icom 706 Mk2 I had seen on the
Icom web-sight,
when I sought help for my ailing son ( who has since has become a
Silent Key {cancer} )
when his eyesight was failing.
One, who shall always be highest in my regards, even posted an item
free to me and
at no cost at all - and would not take any payment either...
I also have been greatful to others who have even despatched small
items before I have
sent my Pay-pal-ment.. off to them.
(Which some will know is not the simplest - Export declarations, form
filling & P.O que-ing)
Such is the good nature of some. And so the concept of this Free
list is to be
encouraged wholeheartedly.. I feel.
The suggestion to "Name & Shame" is valid and if such a an actions
became known,
would I believe quickly stop many "unfair people" taking advantage of
other's generosity.
So keep up this good work Tim, .... 73's de Terry ZL1TCF .. in New
Zealand ..

for what its worth, i totally agree with Norm, W3DYA.
there will always be someone looking for an unfair advantage, always someone
looking to cheat, but i would like to think that for the most part most
people - especially hams - would be honorable to each other.
