              FORT PIERCE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB - MINUTES - 8/11/2010
 
      The regular monthly meeting of the Fort Pierce Amateur Radio Club was chaired by Vice President, Keith Wood, W4RPE. The meeting took place in the IRSC KSU cafeteria, our Hamfest location. Attendance was 23. All attending are members.
 
      MINUTES: The minutes of the July meeting were approved as distributed, after motion by Steve, N4SGL, and seconded by Kurt, W4KFH.
 
      TREASURY: Treasurer Carl, KF4KCI’s gave his report was approved after motion by Kurt, W4KFH, and seconded by Steve, N4SGl.

 
      REPEATERS and ECHOLINK/IRLP: Kevin, W4KKW, said that the repeater link is not working at this time, but he hopes it to be fixed soon. He said that Dock, N4HYK, has been connecting Echolink to the 147.345 repeater for our nets.
 
      Steve, N4SGL, said that the EOC meeting taking place the next Wednesday will start earlier at 7 pm., and said that the Red Cross will be making a presentation. He said that the group is going to plan to help man Red Cross Shelters also.
Bruce, W8HW, said that the Port St. Lucie Amateur Radio Association is inviting our club to their BBQ social at the Port St. Lucie Yacht Club Saturday, October 16th, at 11 am.
 
      CLUB SHIRTS AND HATS: Pete, KD4SPW, said that club shirts are in and are $24. Club hats will be in soon and will be $12. Pete passed around a patch that could be embroidered with name and new call and used to cover one's old callsign on old club shirts.
 
      HAMFEST: The meeting then continued with Hamfest discussions.
