                 FORT PIERCE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB - MINUTES -  3/12/2008



      The regular monthly meeting of the Fort Pierce Amateur Radio Club was
chaired by President, Art Lindell, W4ZEF.  Attendance was 21. Visitors were
Donna Ellmers, Charlie, KJ4CKT, and Doug, W4DAS.



      MINUTES: The minutes of the February meeting were approved as
distributed, after motion by Kevin, W4KKW, seconded by Steve, N4SGL.



      TREASURY: Treasurer Carl, KF4KCI’s report was approved as distributed
after motion by Kevin, W4KKW, seconded by Steve, N4SGL.



      PACKET: Art, W4ZEF, said that he hopes the new Yagi antenna for the
Okeechobee link will be installed in April.



      MEETING PROGRAM: Art, W4ZEF, said that tonight Ernie, AJ4BP, And Greg,
KB4VVE, will test radios with a service monitor after a short business
meeting. Art said eventually we will be able to bring gear to the EOC for
testing.



      SHIRTS & HATS: Pete, KD4SPW, is making a list for the next order, let
him know.



      PAYPAL: Kevin, W4KKW, said it is the works. He expects a link from our
website. We discussed a club e-mail address to use with PAYPAL.



      CLUB PENS: Art, W4ZEF, said that the new batch of club promotional
pens is in.



      STUART HAMFEST: MCARA’s Hamfest takes place this Saturday. Our club
will have a set up. Come and socialize.



      FIELD DAY: Paul, KG4MCE, and Ernie, AJ4BP, spoke briefly about our
FIELD DAY event coming up at the end of June.



      RECENT NEW`MEMBERS: Donn, WY5I, Mark, KJ4BPS, and Charlie, KJ4CKT.
