We're ratcheting up for the '06 season. This will be a County wide
test of all our EmComm gear and procedures. Will need 2 ops for PSL PW
and South County Special Needs shelter.
Test all available amateur resources as well as 800 MHZ.
Also, we are at the Coast Guard Station, 1000 to 1600 on the 20th with
the CSV for USCG open house and Safe Boating week.
Wednesday net on 147.240 at 2000.
CRT meeting on the 17th at 1930.

This email would be to confirm that we are ready to conduct our
communication checks at the EOC at the Community Center. The usual
process requires us to erect the 800mhz antenna along with setting up
all radios inside. We will also check all phones/lines. An inventory
of our EOC supplies will also be taken.
 
When the antenna was taken down last year we suffered damages. Rick
Perkins will be going through the appropriate installation and
take-down
process for this antenna. We urge individuals that may have an
interest
in assisting with the antenna's use to attend. Jay, maybe some of
your
maintenance people.
 
Date for our comm. check is 5.22.06 at 1:30 PM. The EOC room has been
reserved for approx. 2 hours. County EOC has been notified. County
communications protocols coming soon.

Good Morning
 
Rick, as per our discussions this AM, the Director would like to
schedule our pre-hurricane season communications check at our EOC. We
could use your assistance setting up the communication antenna..
 
With the GHC coming up, other training schedules, and Memorial Day,
what might work for you? I know you've got work to do on the tower
first. We'll take care of notifying County on our radio check once
we've coordinated a date/time.
