OLD BUSINESS

Greg, KB4VVE, said that St. Lucie Co. has helped us with 500 ft. of LMR 400 coax for Field Day.

ECHOLINK: President Art, W4ZEF, said that ECHOLINK is working well. He reminded us that Kevin, W4KKW, has been switching ECHOLINK from the 440 repeater to our 2 meter repeater for our Tuesday night nets. He said that we sometimes forget that it is running. He asked the Net Control Operators to remind us during nets to give more time between transmissions for ECHOLINK check-ins.

REPEATER: Art, W4ZEF, said there may still be a little interference between the 2 repeaters. Someone asked if one repeater was still on the floor. Art said yes and wondered if maybe someone had moved it or bumped it. Mel, W4DAQ, said he would check tonight. Mel said it would be a few weeks before he would be able to re-rack the repeaters. Art then asked if the present situation is still ok with Randy. The answer was no and Randy has been away. Art asked if there were any other concerns about the repeater to be discussed.

Art, W4ZEF, asked Pete, KD4SPW, if we had increased our property insurance coverage. Pete said no. Art asked Pete to bring the insurance info to next week's test session and we will do it after the testing.

TESTING : We discussed that we will be holding a test session at our Hamfest in August instead of the regular monthly test session.

Art, W4ZEF, brought up that WQCS will now be the official emergency radio station for the local counties.

Ladd, W2KGV, offered to be the Rabbit anytime we might want to have a fox hunt. Pete, KD4SPW, suggested a fall BBQ / foxhunt social.

FIELD DAY: Toni, K1TS, will be cooking. Greg, KB4VVE, agreed to help. Carl, KF4KCI, will get with Toni ahead to pass equipment.

The rest of the meeting was about Field Day.
