FORT PIERCE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB - MINUTES - 7/13/2005

The regular monthly meeting for July of the Fort Pierce Amateur Radio Club was chaired by Vice President, Keith Wood, W4RPE. Attendance was 12. All that attended are members.

MINUTES: The minutes of the June meeting were approved as distributed, after corrections, after motion by Cheryl, N9SRO, seconded by Mel, W4DAQ.

TREASURY: Treasurer Carl, KF4KCI's report was approved as distributed after motion by Herb, W1QPD, seconded by Paul, KG4MCE.

Total funds: $1962.93.

Total members: 45.


OLD BUSINES 


REPEATER: Keith, W4RPE, asked Mel, W4DAQ, if there are any changes to report about the repeater. Mel, W4DAQ, said not yet. 

HAMFEST: Keith, W4RPE, said we will be staying after the meeting to address Hamfest flyers for mailing.


Carl, KF4KCI, said he will be running the food concessions like last year. Paul, KG4MCE, suggested biscuit sandwiches all day long instead of just at breakfast time. Carl said he will try to cook the biscuits on his portable cooker. Paul and Kevin, W4KKW, will be helping Carl with the food stand.

Mel, W4DAQ, said VE testing will take place at during the Hamfest at 10:00 am. There will not be testing for the month of August on the 4th Wednesday.

Cheryl, N9SRO, said we will need to find someone to do talk-in for this year's Hamfest, as she will not be doing talk-in.

Vice President Keith, W4RPE, closed the meeting at 20:05 hours and the group then worked on Hamfest flyers.
