So why start now?

In any election year obviously slanted political rhetoric such as this 
flows freely.  Any time you see a message urging you to forward it to 
everyone you know a large red flag should be obvious.

Politics and religion are two topics that are general considered unsafe for 
public discussion and anything not related to the club or amateur radio is 
CERTAINLY OFF TOPIC for this list.
