I've heard a number of concerns over the years about being able to DF
the oscillators.
If someone is close enough to DF the oscillator signal, they are
probably close enough to see the flag. My experience is that rarely can
the oscillator be heard more than 30 feet or so from the transmitter.
Maybe a concern for championships events, but certainly not for practice.
