[Fox_Tango] FT101EE 11m -> 12m

Hi,

I'm new to the group and have an FT101EE question...

I recently obtained a crystal to substitute for the 11m crystal to put
the rig on 12m.  I saw a mod on one of the other FT101 related web
sites: http://www.printlife.co.nz/radiomods/yaesu/yaesuft101.html=20

This mod implies that after simply switching the crystal, the user was
able to TX and RX on 12m.  My FT101EE does not seem to support TX on the
11m band switch position - is this normal.  It seems to be configured
like the WWV position - RX only.

Does anyone know what the story is here?=20

Also, I assume there is a simple mod to permit TX in this switch
position if other FT101's do it???
