[Fox_Tango] Final Tubes in the FT 101

Anybody on the list had difficulty with neutralizing a set of GE 6JS6C
finals in the FT 101EE?

I changed the fixed capacitor in series with the variable neutralizing
capacitor to a 10 pf Mica, but the finals are unstable on 10 meters. The
tubes are getting too hot (drawing too much current?) and I'm wondering
if I have "spur" or some other type of  parasitic oscillation..

I changed the 12BY7A to a USA brand, and  is it necessary to change the
fixed neutralizing capacitor in the driver stage? It seems like a change
on the order of a couple of  picofarads was recommended..
