[Fox_Tango] Receiver monitoring ( YO-100 )

Hi Mike,
In case you are wondering about the 'whys' of the mod, although the
YO-100/101 was obviously intended for use with the FT-101 series, the FT-101
did not have enough IF signal level to drive the 'scope. Hence the mod was
to pick up the IF signal a little farther down the IF chain where the level
was higher.
Keep in mind that in this configuration, the scope is looking at the IF
signal after the IF filter. So, it will display the received signal as
conditioned by the IF filter in use, not giving a true rendition of the
other station's characteristics, unless you are using a very wide, ie 6 KHz
AM, filter.
Good luck, 73 and God Bless
Rick, WD8JJA
