I remember a guy (advertised in 73) who sold the 901 and later the 902DM and
I was told by friends most went to Spanish CBers.
Outside of the FT101ZD the 901/902 series was probably the most widespread
CB /HF Slider rig sold.  Glad you were able to fix it.
I have a pair of later FT980's and I had some problems with the oscilators
and BFO-VCV circuits.  Often the Yaesu Technical Supplement (what they call
the technical manual) does not cover anytyhing except normal alignment.
