[ForSale-Swap] Paypal

Mike et.al.

Paypal doesn't charge a "commission". They charge a bank service fee of 2
3/4 percent. That is the standard fee charged by most banks that provide
you with credit card service. So if you figure 3 percent you should be
good. But, again as a matter of having the correct understanding, you're
not paying a commission. I've had merchants credit card service for years
and anybody that runs a real business pays that fee every time you buy
something from them. Paypal's treatment of their clients (that is what they
refer to you as) is virtually no different than the treatment that I get
from Fifth-Third Bank. Paypal is regulated by the same banking laws that
any other bank is. If you complain to MasterCard, Visa, American Express,
etc (I take all those cards) you'll get your money back, I get my account
debited and it up to ME to prove that they've lied. Just one of the hazards
of running a real business.

Thanks, all.
My reason for asking is that I have some gear for sale, and I wanted to
know how to price it.
