I remember back when Ebay was first getting started there was a lot
of talk about them failing as a business cuz of the fraud. They
instituted their ballyhoo'd protection policy in order not to crash
and burn as a biz model.
But, the original poster is correct, I have never had to go thru the
rigamarole. The furthest I've had to go is contacting Ebay, and
they will send an email inquiry to the person, and that usu elicits
a positive response, at least in my case.
I would have thought hams were a different breed, but I guess there
are bad in every group. Have you posted on the BadHam group? Prolly
wont do much good, but it's something you can do while you're taking
other action (or not).
