Subject: Silver Plated Expanded Mesh and other materials.
I have 12" x 12" sheets of silver plated copper mesh screen and will
sell 10 for $25 shipped to you in CONUS.
The mesh is about the thickness and hole size of screen material that
you would use for your windows. The base material is copper then there
is a flash plate of nickel as silver can't plate to copper directly.
Then there is a good plate of silver as the material was to be immersed
in caustic KOH solution. Any holes would lead to the KOH attacking the
copper base.
This is an expanded mesh and not woven.
It is clean, flat, undistorted ,not oxizidized, annealed soft and and
would make excellent material for grounding and shielding.
I have identical mesh in 99.999% pure silver but that will be sold by
weight and some sheets are OK and others are wrinkled. Right now ,
silver is running between $10 and $14 per ounce. A 12 x 12 sheet is
about 2 ounces by weight.
I have nickel and plain copper expanded mesh on a roll(exactly same as
above silver and silver plated copper) at the same price of $25 for 10
sheets.
The copper is a bit wider (about 14 inches) and the nickel is narrower
(about 10 inches)
I have some some very thick heavy expanded copper mesh...I guess made
from .031" material with diamond shaped expanded holes about .250" x .100".
I have some solid copper foil on a roll again about 12 inches wide and
about .010" thick.
Additionally , I have some sheet aluminum that one could use to fold up
a homemade chassis. It is about .025" - .031" thick and comes in various
sizes around 20 inches on each side. Perforated aluminum sheet (various)
for air flow covers or shielding.
I also have clean flat sheet copper in .031" and .062" up to 48 inches
square if you would like to fold up a copper chassis.
