Hello all,

If you've just been using a "portable" for your SWLing and want to upgrade
to a "tabletop" receiver, OR have just always wanted a "Frog", here is your
chance. I have a nice Yaesu "Frog-7" for sale in very good condition.
Here's the
description.

For those NOT familiar with the set, it s a nice, late '70's tabletop model
that uses the "Wadley Loop" principle. Though it's an analog set the VFO
that tunes 1MC at a time is easy to read the frequency with-in about 5KC,
close enough for nearly any SWLing. A description and picture of one may be
seen at the following URL.
http://www.dxing.com/rx/frg7.htm

1. Yaesu branded (Sears and SommerKamp also had their names on some of
these), Serial Number 7F 100234, WITH factory fine tuning (early models
didn't have it).
2. Cosmetically, front panel and lettering near perfect (I DON'T like the
term "mint"). NO broken switches or knobs, or scratches in the speaker grill
or panel. Front panel trim ring has a couple very small paint chips out.
Main cabinet has some scratches, primarily on top where there was apparently
something sitting on it (It should "overspray" with gray paint nicely if you
wish to paint it).
3. Electrically, near perfect so far as I can tell. I've replaced the
Power supply filter capacitors just to be safe (I usually run it on 12 Volts
DC). Receiver has been aligned and gets a good solid "lock" on all bands.
Good sensitivity. ALL Pilot lamps work (original lamps so far as I can
tell).
4. Battery box intact and in good condition, EXCEPT, should have the
battery holder Velcro replaced AND new plastic snap buttons (one is missing
and is available from Fox-Tango).

USA sales only please.
PRICE, Money order for $225.00 PLUS shipping costs (I'll provide the box and
packing stuff).
