[ForSale-Swap] CONUS?

As an Alaskan, I can say that the "lower 48 only" rule has cost many a
seller my business. I often will ask for a quote from a seller. Many times
the seller is more than willing to give a quote, sometimes they refuse. I
have even seen sellers on Ebay who will ship overseas, yet not to AK. Go
figure.

For a larger item, UPS or FedX are the way to go. They offer tracking and
the item gets here in a couple days.

For smaller items (parts, HT's, mobile rigs, etc) one trick is to use the
flat rate priority mail boxes via the USPS. If the item can fit in the box
and weighs less than 70 pounds, it can ship anywhere in the USA, Alaska and
Hawaii included for $8.30.

I have shipped several power supplies that fit in these boxes. The thing
weighs over 20 pounds, but only costs $8.30. Can't beat that.

Ask your local post office about the flat rate boxes.
