Hi Kim - 
 
A lot of people LATELY are rethinking the use of their credit card IS NOT a
such GOOD idea with all the stories about credit identies being STOLEN.
 
The more you disperse the information the greater the RISK and a lot
of people don't trust places like PAYPAL. How often do you hear about
people receiving spoof email from phony "EBAY" sites? 
 
I could go on about this issue but that's some of my augument.

       There is ONE way that you can eliminate this issue right away, and 
that is to
deal with sellers that take your MC or Visa, or AMEX card.  I own and run a 
business and
will take anybody's credit card for anything that I sell.  As you know, if 
you have a problem
with an Item purchased with a credit card and it's not as represented, you 
can dispute the charge
and not pay for it.  IF somebody is offering to take you CC on e-bay, you 
can bet that he is legit,
because he or she will not get paid for months if there is a problem and 
will get charged a hefty fee
for not satisfying the buyer.  In addition to that, there is no provision 
for him to even get his merchandise back.
So, remember that next time you bid on something or decide to buy it.  FYI, 
anybody can get credit card service
these days through Sam's club and it's even cheaper than the bank, so there 
is not excuse for no having it.
