[ForSale-Swap] the other side of various ebay radios ...

At least as a buyer you always have the last word on FB - buyer has
two responses and the seller has a single response. I was able to
respond to the seller's FB by basically calling him a liar and that
anyone could contact me for the proof.
Unfortunately, most sellers I have experienced will only deal with
PayPal, however, your idea of using a postal money order certainly has
merit especially where fraud is involved.
The other experience where I purchased a "new" RigBlaster Plus turned
out positive for me. After I received the RigBlaster and set it up,
it would not work right. I opened the unit up again and just sat
there staring at it when I noticed one of the optoisolators was
missing, three resistors were replaced and one diode was replaced. It
should have occurred to me that new Rigblasters are shipped without
the screws in the case because they know you have to set the jumpers
for the mic and and PTT if is is present. I notified the seller via
email that the unit was not new was defective and they responded
almost immediately and asked that I return the unit and they would
refund the cost of the unit and shipping. After I received the refund
I then gave the seller a glowing FB.
Unfortunately it takes only a few bad apples to ruin it for everyone
else whether it is on eBay or through a reflector, etc.

I personally have more problem with listing on this and other groups than I
have ever had on eBay if you watch the persons Feedback.

The eBay FB system is a sham. The bad sellers will give you negative FB in
retaliation if you post anything bad (or even not glowing enough) about them. I
no longer post FB, until I have received positive FB first. Period.

There are sellers with hundreds of negatives, yet they can still sell. eBay ONL
Y
cares about sellers, and does NOT give a damn about buyers. eBay is NOT 'A Safe
Place to Trade" IMO. They have NEVER taken any action against rip-off sellers I
have reported. I now pay only via USPS Money Orders. The Postal Inspectors have
gotten what I paid for 100%.
