I NEED:
1. 2m Splitter to take 1-5 watts input and split it to 4 outputs to
feed four amplifiers. Also need a Combiner that can handle four 70w
(max) inputs to produce a single 280 watt output on 2m. (Note: If such
exists I'd accept both devices in a three amp combine-split mode vs
four, but I doubt it.)
2. HF splitter 20watt (max) input capacity is probably adequate to
drive two amplifiers, and a Combiner to handle two 600w inputs to
produce a single 1200 PEP output (the devices I am using are currently
designed for 6-225MHz, hope to mod that to 1.8 - 148MHz, or 1.8 - 54MHz,
also, I am guessing that the 600w ratings per board are PEP input so
with 60% efficiency that is 360w output per board = 720w output total,
but I am not certain of all of this yet).
3. KW rated antenna tuner designed to handle open wire (450ohm) and
50/75 ohm coax from 1.8 - 30MHz, and a tuner that does this real well.
Built in metering preferred.
I HAVE TO SWAP:
1. Roller Inductor 1: E.F. Johnson 229-202 .1 - 18uH 2.5" x 3" x 6.5"
long end to end. Length from end plate to end plate on inductor is
4.75". ($132. at Surplus Sales)
2. Roller Inductor 2: Suitable for final amplifier or antenna tuner.
Tunable 0 - ?? uH. Dimensions: 6.5" X 3" X 1.5" Coil is 48 turns silver
wire (#16 awg?) on a 1.25" diameter ceramic form. Ceramic standoff feet
(one missing).
3. Roller Inductor 3: KW class roller inductor suitable for final
amplifier or antenna tuner. Tunable 0 - 36 uH. Dimensions: 6-3/4" X
3-1/2" X 3-1/2" plus standard 1/4" shaft that is 1-1/2" long. Coil is
46 turns of 14 awg on a 2" diameter ceramic form.
4. Roller Inductor 4: Suitable for final amplifier or antenna tuner.
Tunable 0 - ?? uH. Dimensions: 6.5" X 2" X 2" Coil is 46 turns silver
wire (#16 awg?) on a 1.5" diameter ceramic form. Black phenolic
faceplate labeled "ANTENNA LOADING" with marching knurled spinner knob
w/silver metal handle.
5. Dual Section variable capacitor. Sweet smooth turning brass shaft
and plates. Solid chromed frame. Suitable for receiver, transmitter,
or tuner apps. Exceptionally solid and well manufactured. Section 1: 12
turning x 11 fixed plates 1/8" spacing. Section 2: 18 turning x 18 fixed
plates 1/16" spacing. 22/93 etched on the end, perhaps uF values? Used
but real clean.
6. Heath SB-10 w/original manual (cosmetic defects, faceplate
otherwise nice by bent in a couple of places due to mishandling during
service).
I can take and send some photos if desired.
Tnx! & 73, doc kd4e
