Offering for sale a near mint Heath SB220  linear amplifier retrofitted
and dedicated for  1000W + output on 6m w/100Watts of drive.  Unit
appears stock Heath in every aspect  except that the bandswitch now
controls the tuned input circuit. Antenna relay modified for solid state
exciter compatibility. Recapped with Nichicons 330mFd@ 450VDC filter
capacitors.  Runs a pair of 3-500 Amperex  (Holland) tubes with low
hours. 220-240vac  operation only! This is a complete retrofit with
components that are appropriate for 50mHz operation. Extremely broad
banded and allows 1mHz excursions without retuning.  Great for chasing
DX.  Experience dictates that these units do not ship  well,so it will
have to be a pickup in the New York City, Scranton, PA vicinity, or in
northern  New Jersey convenient to the Garden State Parkway. $850 PICKUP
