I have a Yaesu FT225RF 2-meter all-mode transceiver for sale or
trade.  It has been stored for a couple of years and was used
exclusively for packet when set up.  It operates 144 to 148MHz
by programmed,preset frequencies or VFO on AM, FM, CW and
SSB.  Output rated at 25w.

The radio is a 8 of 10 with some visible wear and a few scratches.
One or two of the cover screws are missing.  The front panel is in
very good condition and the display is nice and bright. It transmits 
and receives although the internal speaker doesn't work.  It comes 
with the manual missing the cover and first page or two but, does
have the schematic diagram complete. Comes with the AC cord
and has a built-in power supply.  No 'damage' or modifications are
visible.  I have not had the radio on the air since it doesn't have a
speaker.  It may need a little work to be completely functional. It
was back to Yaesu for alignment in 1996 just before it was taken
off-line and stored.

Asking $150.00 or best offer.  Or, I am interested in a 6-meter FM 
mobile radio, a Kantronics KPC-9612 or comparable 9600 baud 
TNC, Yaesu FT411E HT in good condition or a 486 laptop computer
in good condition for portable packet.  Make me an offer or what 
have you to trade....  I'll pick up the UPS for the 'right' deal...
