[ForSale-Swap] Help> Need info on US customs charges

SOMETIMES there have been additional 'broker' charges by UPS... but they 
may have discontinued that practice... I haven't seen it for a while. My 
impression is that "used" Amateur Radio Equipment is not subject to Customs 
charges. I suppose the word "gift" is sometimes added, although I've 
received several pieces of equipment over the years, w/o Customs being 
interested-and w/o the additional word..
