[ForSale-Swap] Help> Need info on US customs charges

Can someone please post information on the US situation with customs when
importing ham equipment.(from Canada) 

I'm asking this because I received an email from a US ham asking if he
would have to pay customs if he bought a radio I have for sale. I've never
heard any feedback from people I've sold to before so don't have the
answer.

I'm sure there may be some others with the same question that haven't asked
it..
