This is also the weekend of the Clearwater Amateur Radio Society Winter
Picnic. We will be setting up "field day" style at the Largo 4-H club on
Hamlin Boulevard. The picnic is Saturday the 18th, and you're welcome to
stay overnight if you'd like.

I'll post more details this evening to all of the lists.

The 2003 ARRL January VHF Sweepstakes contest will be held on January
18-20.  This is a great opportunity to make some qso's on the bands from
six meters and up.

There will be many operators in Florida who want to hear from you. Many
radios have six meters and higher bands and a simple dipole or your
vertical will let you join in the fun.

This is a great opporunity to check out SSB or CW on the VHF & UHF
