Here's a tip, Jim...

I stopped using UPS a few months ago, because they have become so 
finicky and so expensive.

I expect that they have had a LOT more claims lately.

They used to never damage anything. Last fall they ruined a rig that I 
packed very well and shipped via UPS. After the usual disputing they 
paid on the claim OK.

But now I have found that FEDEX GROUND do a good job for about 
75% of the UPS charges, and they do not make you jump through all of 
those hoops in order to ship something insured.

I am in no way connected with Fedex - just a happy customer so far!
