It makes me wonder if ARRL is really competent enough to publish it any
more. I believe we should petition ARRL that if they do remove section news,
that they will create a lower cost membership that does not include QST.
Why pay for it if it is no use to you?
Or possibly have a second party print it and save money.

I'll just snip out everything else in the post instead of putting my
answers in it.
I can sum it up REAL easy in 2 steps.
1. I don't like reading news papers etc on the web. I can take a book
ANYWHERE I want!!!
Number 2 and most important,
What about the MANY people that aren't on the internet or don't even own a
computer???
I know many people that won't or don't have anything to do with
computers....
I'm sure that the ARRL can cut costs in other ways... They need to look at
other areas....
What about using cheaper paper?
I find it hard to belive that they are LOOSING money on QST!!! Whith half
of my dues going to QST and ALL of the add $$$ I can't belive it.
I'll leave this here as I can just keep going on. It is like big business,
they always take the easy way out and kill jobs to save money. We all know
that isn't the best way. Same thing here. The BIG picture needs to be
looked at.
Where can I find the stats for QST so I can see for my self that they are
loosing money on QST???
I'm sure that even with reduced adds in QST that ARRL is showing some kind
of profit.
I'm also cc ing this to Frank and Sandy as my protest letter.
