the PK88 tnc is a compatible tnc2 not a genuine tnc2 controller.
That means the eproms like UIDIGI or 6pack will not work on it. 
The only way to make it working, out of the standard way, is to pass it in 
kiss mode and to connect it to a PC.
Softwares like DIGI_NED for APRS or (X)net / Flexnet for the node functions 
will do the job.
