[Flexnet] 6pack

I have tried to exchange the original Eprom of a PK-88 for a new one 
allowing to make it work in 6pack mode. For that, I used the file 6pack.bin 
to "burn" a 27C256 and made the wanted substitution.
Total flop !
Are there some requirements in the burning process I could have overlooked 
(e.g. starting address related to an entry point) ?
 From what is said in Flexnet litterature about 6pack, I believed that all 
TNC2s featuring the same hardware a simple change of firmware made them 
6pack-compatible. Obviously this is not applicable to the PK-88.
Is there something to do ?
