Except the FLEXDIGI to my knowledge. Technically you can't
run it IF you want to run all that *other stuff* too. But
yes, I originally started with the Win95 and sound card,
including the TCP/IP drivers. Really cool stuff.
I eventually moved to a baycom board, then finally a
Paccom Tiny II TNC with 6pack eprom. In the end, nothing
beats a dedicated TNC which seems to be the most forgiving
when it comes to talking to other TNC's that might not be
quite on the money as far as Deviation and other levels.

I don't know the exact details, and frankly I'm not
interested in the tomatoe throwing and mud slinging
that's gone on over the past years ...
What is clear to me is that the FlexNet32 stuff has not
taken off too well for the non-IP related applications.
Too bad really. The way the FlexNet API is written,
software like WinPack, PR4WIN, WinFBB, any of the APRS
stuff (like the beautiful UI-View package), could in my
opinion, EASILY be modified to work with a FlexNet32
environment. Either the authors are not too aware of
FlexNet32 or they simply are not interested. That
I don't know about.
Perhaps it would not hurt for US to contact some of
the authors and suggest the idea. The more people there
are requesting for this, the more chance it could be
a reality.
I for one will make a note to contact a few authors
and see what they say. How about the rest of you ?
That's all for today. Time to hit the sack !
