Hi FlexNeteers,

I've been trapped into following problem:

two months ago I've successfully setup FlexNet 32 ver. 2.1 with latest
SoundModem (dated 09/2001). Also older SoundModem (dated 08/2000) worked OK.
Both 1k2 and 9k6 installations worked well on my Dell CPiA Win2k notebook.
The only feature which I was not able to use was the PTT keying thourgh COM
port so I used VOX circuit instead (which is even better, the COM port
remained free). The later versions of FlexNet (2.2, 2.3) suffered from the
problem mentioned below.

Recently I tried to run the same configuration on other different machines
(Win98/Win2k - notebook/desktop) but following problem appeared in any
configuration/version of both FlexNet/32 and SoundModem. Receive is OK.
After first TX packet is sent out, FlexNet keeps sending some "packet"
periodically (approx. every 1.5 s, not shown in Trace window though) until
FlexNet is shut down. The next packet is sent, next periodical sequence with
the same periodicity is started. If many (e.g. SABM) packets are sent, the
TX output remains almost all time active.

Thus I started to play with configuration/versions on my Dell machine I've
ended up with the same trouble. Even worse, when trying to use older
SoundModem (08/2000) it cannot be properly registered in Parameters window
of FlexNet32 (an exclamation mark is above the soundmodem record).

I tried to delete all registry entries before, no help. I'm screwed up and
can't figure what's the issue here.

Anyone experienced the same trouble?

P.S. The soundmodemconfig's Diagnostics works properly in all cases/all
machines/all versions.
