Thanks gang!!!! What a great response now with offers of help. The last 24 hours have brought many e-mails from folks wanting to help ... and we're keeping track of who and what is coming. This is REALLY helping us get organized ... although folks are still showing up without letting us know they are coming, which is understandable.

They are adding more places that need to be staffed, so the need is always changing.

One additional bit of information if you're heading to the staging area. When you get off the interstate, you want to be in the left lane (the staging area is on the left side of King's Highway). If the traffic is bad, it might be difficult to change lanes. Also, when traveling down there ... with no traffic lights, treat the intersection as a 4-way stop. Officers are directing traffic on some intersections ... not all.

Things are getting more organized now, and folks are being sent out on assignments when and where needed.

We could use a Comm trailer with CB capabilities to direct truckers shipping in supplies.

We're working on setting up at least 2 HF stations for FEMA. They should be up and running today with comms to the State EOC.

Thanks for all the help so far! Don't have any numbers yet ... but it's been a "bunch"!!

Ron
