[FLARES] SvrWx alerts via cell phone

I've used free email sever weather notification services before and had
those sent to my cell phone text number.  The problem that I've run into
regards the message length limits on the phone.  These services tend to
take up most of the space with header/advertisement info which doesn't
leave enough space to actually tell me details about the weather alert.

Are there any free notification services around that tend to be
optimized for sending to cell phone text features?

I currently subscribe to WeatherTap but they don't offer such a service.
I might consider subscribing to such a service IF it is optimized to fit
my 150 character limit on AT&T wireless.
