Indian River County ACS is at Level One Alert as of 11:00 hours Thursday,
August 14, 2003.
Level One Alert: No Direct Threat At This Time�Continue Monitoring�
EVENT INFORMATION:
** RELEASE INFORMATION FROM IRCEOC**
A large squall type thunderstorm cell is moving into the county at this
time. Radar indicates that the winds with this system have gusts up to
50mph. This cell will move over the central and northern portion of the
county. The winds will be "straight line winds" and not tornado activity.
The central and the northern part of the county will get another 1.5 inches
of rain with this cell. This brings the total to near 4 inches since 7:00am
this morning.
